Essex Young Farmers!

I’m pleased to announce Teddys Bathrooms & Kitchens have a stand in the centre of Essex Young Farmers Country Show Ground. I say its a stand – more of a pitch with a full 7mx7m Marquee – refreshments and information etc on all that we do at Teddys. We invite you all to attend and if you are going to Essex Young Farmers please come and visit Teddys at there stand and say Hi.

We have many things on show at the stand and i know that Essex Young Farmers have many activities and other stalls for you to see as well as a Beer Festival & Food Court.

Well we did it!

After Months of pushing and trying to make sure that we could get the parking kept FREE we finally all pulled together and beat the council and kept the carpark FREE!

This all started from a little blog on here and then went huge.

Ingatestone ended up in the Gazzette twice! We then ended up on BBC Essex Radio twice.
All in all we fighted our case hard and we won! What a victory that was as well.

I thought i would let you all know of the superb victory that Ingatestone Parking stays FREE!

Ingatestone Parking – SAY NO!

Well here we go again they are planning to now talk about what the changes should be and what should happen!

Today i got information about a meeting that is being held at the Ingatestone Library.

SATURDAY 10th MARCH 10am-11am

If you can be there it will be great. It is to discuss the proposals with residents/traders about the parking arrangements.

 

They have 3 Ideas so far in place:

1. A 30minute free period then a charge of 50p up to the maximum stay period of two hours in both car parks.
2. To leave Bell Mead free of charge with existing restrictions and introduce parking charges as above to Market Place Car park.
3. To work with the Parish Council for more local management and maintenance of the car parks and for them to remain free of charge.

I hope everyone can get involved and behind this like they did last time. We done a great job and we won the battle but the war is still going and im sure with your help we can keep this Village afloat and really make this work!

Made It To The Press!!!

Thats right the Blog posted by www.teddysathome.co.uk went to the press. The phoned myself up in the morning after the Blog went live. Asking who wrote the blog and could we do a cover on this. Kindly Brentwood Gazzette inserted this spread for us and it went really well. So well that BBC Essex then saw the Article in the Gazzette and came down to do an interview with me For BBC Essex. Dan Chapman From Teddys Kitchens talking on BBC Essex trying to help save the parking in his own Village. We couldn’t believe it.

Well after all this we ended with Sending the main council over 800 signatures and i couldnt say how many people wrote a letter to them. Today we are still taking support from clients/Customers and just general Ingatestone people approaching us with support to the cause.

Just would also like to take this Blog post to send a massive THANKYOU to everyone who signed/Wrote or just supported us and made this parking charges which started as a letter then a Blog into something that effected everyone in and around ingatestone! GOOD WORK EVERYONE

I Hope the next blog is one saying we WON THE BATTLE FOR FREE PARKING!

Say NO to Parking Charges!

Say NO to parking charges in Ingatestone.

BRENTWOOD BOROUGH COUNCIL are planning to impose car parking charges in the Market Place & In Bell Mead carpark of Ingatestone.

Teddys & the rest of Ingatestone High Street are writing to Brentwood Borough Council to get this to be stopped. If these charges come into ingatestone then we are going to have the problem of customer not just pulling up to buy a paper or even popping in to do a bit of shopping, go through a quotation at Teddys or even just to get there hair cut.

We are looking for your support to just write a letter or anything just to stop this from happening.  Spread the word please as they put the charges in one of the carparks and with-in a year a shop went under and was turned into flats. Make a stop now before Ingatestone just becomes Flats & Houses not a lovely little village to going shopping in!

Here at TeddysAtHome we started out on the bases of Teddys.

At the end of the day EVERYONE likes a Teddy

We have lots of Teddys in our showrooms but i have selected 3 that really stand out. Firstly one of our first Teddys a customer ever brought into our showrooms after we done their bathroom. Which was lovely for us as we do not always get Teddys as presents.

The second Teddys is a Kudos Teddy. Kudos is one of a few companies that supply us with shower enclosures and is a Teddy that alot of people talk about. We even had a raffle for Js Hospice and a GIANT version of this Teddy was up for grabs and went to a little girl. She told us that it would keep her other GIANT Teddy company while she was at school.

Last but not least the Houses of Parliament Teddy………
Not alot of people can say they have one of these or for the fact that it was a customer who gave us this Teddy who infact was a member of parliament.

In all we are proud of all our little Teddys that keep the showrooms safe over night when no one is around and are always there to lend a hand during the day.

When we have customers with Children in  we often find all the Teddys Grouped together in a bath or on a kitchen display. Many a time a child has told us how many Teddys we have etc. Its always great fun @Teddysathome

So all in all you should get yourselves into Teddys Showrooms In Ingatestone not just to buy a Kitchen, Bathrooms or even a Bedroom but to have a look at our wonderful Teddys.

Also look out for the image of the MASSIVE Black teddy on the side of our Largest Van.

Siemens Appliances – Teddys At Home

Siemens appliances are made in Germany and really do some funky stuff! This Image is from a Siemens IQ700.

“What’s a IQ700″ I hear you ask.

Well Siemens have many ranges where quality is not left behind. IQ100 is their starting range, then from there it goes through the ranges all the way to the IQ700.

The Siemens range is made for usability. A customer can visit TeddysAtHome and speak to one of the family and we can tailor an appliance to your needs. A IQ700 will not only cook your meals but can also de-frost*, self clean & also a great feature of being able to set your own programmes.
It also offers the self cook mode, for Example:
I have a 800gram Chicken to go into my oven. You unwrap the chicken place in a tray and then into the oven. You then select memory mode – you input the details (Chicken, how much it weighs and when you would like it cooked for) It then will cook the item for you and turn the oven off and let you know that its fully cooked and ready to eat.  These are just a few functions from the IQ700.

Yet if your a customer that isnt overly into cooking but would like a good quality oven – hob etc but is not wanting the bells and whistles that the IQ700 gives you, then a lower machine from Siemens is a great option. You still get Siemens superb quality etc, and also the strength and performance of the top end range. But just with less controls and everything a little more simple.
